MCL-WS-04 - signal indicator

Application:

An indicator is designed for permanent and safe signaling the presence of voltage on the busbars in medium voltage switchgear. Signaling the presence of voltages helps to prevent mistaken grounding the busbars. Indicator is designed to work with measuring insulators equipped with capacitive or resistive dividers.

Operating:

The indicator continuously indicates the presence of current in a circuits of three inputs to which are connected the outputs of the measuring insulators. The connection is made with the socket of the connector, located on the cable exiting the indicator (approx. 25 cm). On the front panel are placed banana sockets (L1, L2, L3) directly connected to the measurement circuits.

Next to the sockets there are LED lights to indicate the presence of current in measuring circuits.

With the current decrease in to near the threshold activation, the indicator starts blinking (the closer the threshold the slower). Indicator goes off below the configured threshold.

The indicator works with measuring insulators of output currents up to 500 µA, at the rated voltage network. The value of the threshold current is adjusted using a armature accessible through the holes in the top of the housing.

Factory setting: 10 µA.

THE POSITION OF ARMATURE THRESHOLD CURRENT
1 10 µA
2 15 µA
3 25 µA
4 40 µA
5 60 µA
6 90 µA
7 110 µA
