OWPS GE-B - reinforced indoor rotary disconnector

Application:

OWPS GE-B is reinforced version of OWPS. It is more robust and able to reach short peak current (Ik=280kA/tk=40ms). This could be achieved thanks to use of legally protected construction of layer insulators. OWPS GE -B type disconnectors are devices used to connecting and disconnecting the electrical circuit without a load. Devices of this type are used in traction, power banks and in the grid industry. Mounted in a chamber, disconnector OWPS GE-B meets various roles such as:

  • isolating the positive or negative end, or both assembly of transformer/ rectifier
  • power supply isolation from the source of energy

Thanks to its modular design, disconnector OWPS GE-B allows for a large number of different combinations and option, which allows it to carry out many functions.

Construction:

OWPS GE-B disconnectors consist of aluminum base, coppery busbars, silver contacts, post insulators, electroinsulating strings and the motor drive. They are equipped with electric drive. The disconnectors can work in vertical or horizontal position.
